Raptors vs Reapers
A postponed match from week 9 between the Raptors and the reapers finally came to fruition the week between the end of the season and the playoffs, the Reapers guaranteed a spot and the Raptors needing to win to secure theirs.
The game started with good momentum for the Raptors, with Luke Pattimore passing to James Alderton twice early in the game to take them ahead, the Reapers answered with a pass to Dan Le Cheminant, and managing to convert for an extra point. The Raptors seemed to take on a new life altogether as the team edged ahead, the Raptors took an experimental play into the end zone, giving Luke Pattimore his first and only touchdown of the regular season, Luke Rabey showing he’s capable of anything as he becomes the only player this season to have caught a TD, run a TD, thrown a TD and scored with an intercepted pass. Not liking to be outshone, James Alderton picked off a pass from the reapers and scored himself, widening the margin even further. The last score from the raptors came from Luke Rabey as the clock ticked down and the end in sight for a playoff spot. The Reapers did manage to claw one more score and finished the drive with a pass to Nick Schofield. The Raptors next drive ended badly for them as the drew a couple of flags and eventually got run back for a safety after a handoff was incredibly well read by Si King.
This was however the Raptors day as they secured a playoff spot against the Knights, the Reapers playing the Razorbacks. Final score 34-15
