In 2014, after a spring and early summer of training, we held a four team tournament on 16 August, played in a round-robin format, with the two teams with the best record playing for the title.
It was a fun afternoon, which saw not only the players coming down, but also family and friends to give their support.
Ultimately, after a hard fought afternoon, it was the Spartans who came out victorious.
Marcus Lewis and Si King were named defensive MVPs. Si was a shutdown conner all afternoon but very graciously chose to split the award with Marcus, after Marcus regsitered the only sack of the afternoon.
Tom Lowe was named the offensive MVP which was well deserved after his spin move could not be stopped all afternoon!
